How it works? Procedure overview
The Veinsound device is an investigational product and is not currently available for sale in the US, EU, or any other international market. It is intended solely for investigational research use at this time
Simple and efficient, with minimal intervention.
STEP 1 : Positioning of the probe

The probe is applied on the patient leg with a coupling gel.
STEP 2 : Automatic setting parameters via AI

The identification of the vein is precise and automatic, using computer vision and AI safety features.
STEP 3 : Treatment

The treatment is performed on the selected vein segment based on the cavitation process. (15 min for a 30 cm long saphenous trunk)
What is cavitation?
Cavitation is the phenomenon used by the Veinsound device to treat varicose veins non-invasively and non-thermally. The process involves the generation and manipulation of microbubbles within the veins, leveraging the advanced ultrasound technology HIFU.
Formation of microbubbles
When the liquid's pressure decreases to reach its saturating vapor pressure, it transitions into the gaseous phase. HIFU generates small air bubbles naturally present in the veins.
Oscillation
The bubbles vibrate rapidly due to ultrasound energy, applying controlled mechanical stress on the vein walls.
Erosion and closure of the vein
When cavitation occurs near a wall, the bubble implosion emits a micro-jet and shock wave. The mechanical stress on the wall generates local erosion.
Exceptional results on the obliteration of superficial varicose veins

Before treatment
The diseased vein tissue is characterized by weakened, dilated walls that allow blood to pool, leading to discomfort, swelling, and visible bulging.

After treatment
Scouring of the inner walls of the vein, resulting in its closure. Preservation of surrounding tissues.
Patients experience immediate relief from symptoms without pain, scarring, or downtime.
