VeinSound – a startup with a non-thermal ultrasonic technology pioneering the treatment of varicose veins, and the French Society of Phlebology (SFP) – the reference institution in clinical researches promoting quality treatments in the field of phlebology, are announcing a strategic partnership. With the intent and goal to accelerate the development and deployment of varicose vein therapies, and satisfy the unmet needs of vascular surgeons, practitioner and patients.
The SFP and VeinSound alliance – aggregating ’s SFP’s scientific and medical expertise and VeinSound’s know how and technology expertise in High Intensity Focused Ultrasound will enable:
• The clinical data aggregation for increased non thermal varicose vein treatment safety and efficacy, in driving rigorous pre-clinical and clinical trials and tests,
• The provision of therapeutic solutions and tools to the medical and surgeon communities, validated by a renowned scientific institution to better respond to doctor and patient expectations,
• Patients to receive at the doctor’s premise / in-office, non-invasive and painless treatments.

ABOUT THE FRENCH SOCIETY OF PHLEBOLOGY
Founded in 1947 by Raymond TOURNAY – the French Society of Phlebology (SFP) is the oldest phlebology institution. The SFP’s main charter is to write, edit and publish phlebology white papers and reference articles and studies.
