Our Team
The leadership team at VeinSound consists of experienced professionals from the robotics and medical devices sector, covering management, technology, clinical, and regulatory affairs. The crew is complemented by scientific experts from INSERM U1032 and three vascular experts (physicians and surgeons). We are an experienced group at the head of a disruptive, dynamic and resolutely innovative start-up!

Stéphane Lavallée, PhD, is an entrepreneur specializing in “smart” medical devices. After co-founding and leading Praxim, he founded a network of startups specializing in medtech as well as multiple startups that were successfully acquired including Blue Ortho. He has also established collaborations with medical companies, hospitals, surgeons and institutions, providing a network of deep expertise. Stéphane is the founder of eCential Robotics, Orthotaxy (acquired by Depuy Synthes, a J&J company).

With an extensive experience in large high-tech companies, managing large profit centers and launching multiple startups in the USA, Didier brings to the team his calm, his passion for technology and his business acumen, along with an American vision of business to effectively manage corporate developments and operations.

Thomas, PhD, joined the team at the company's inception in 2017. After experiences in High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound startups with EYETECHCARE he successfully launched the product in China. Thomas discovers the vascular market at MEDTRONIC as New-Product Development Leader, and naturally identified the potential of HIFU for venous treatment.

Passionate about the medical world since his time at TECHNOMED, he caught the start-up virus and followed his path in the creation of new products with his skill and curiosity for new technologies.
